How To Process Report Results With Other Applications?
Besides the human readable HTML report shown in a browser, there is an XML report format. You may not have paid much attention to it yet, but once you've got the clue what you can do with it, you may like it a lot. Actually XML is the original output format and the HTML for a browser is generated from it. The necessary StyleSheet is found next to the application or in the application package on a Mac.
This means you can modify the appearance of the HTML report by changing this style sheet. You may however write your own stylesheet to import the report data into a FileMaker database.
The report.xml comes as a single long line. It can be examined with InternetExplorer 6 or 7 on Windows or any other suitable XML editor.
An Example StyleSheet may be supplied here later.
